Jeffrey Dean Morgan has wanted to play the role of DC’s Wolf for years and scoffs that something may be in the works for the character.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan has his eyes on playing DC’s intergalactic bounty hunter Wolf. The Walking Dead The star first expressed an interest in starring in the DC antihero. Over the years, DC has made several attempts to bring Wolf to the big screen. More recently, Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista threw his name on prospective actors’ hats to star in the role. Despite all this interest from some of Hollywood’s best, DC is yet to fully commit to pulling the trigger on the film.

While promoting his new movie The profane in an interview with CinePOP, Morgan expressed continued interest in playing Lobo. It is a role that he has been pursuing for over a decade. The actor even teased that he might have something in the works for the role of “Main Man.”
“I really like Lobo. I really wanted to do Lobo for a long time, but we will see. We will see. I have something that may be cooking and I will let you know soon if it is, but I love the world of comics and I hope I can continue playing in this world for a long time. “
Morgan’s first foray into playing comic book characters began in 2009 when he was cast as The Comedian in Zack Synder. The watchers. The actor has continuously sought the role for years and even managed to get The Rock’s blessing to take up the mantle as Wolf since now he will star Black adam. However, the movie can’t seem to get out of development limbo with Warner Bros. The movie has gone through an extensive group of top-notch directors, actors, and screenwriters in the past, but has yet to see the light of day. . Since The Walking Dead is ending soon, Morgan says studios know it’s available. Hopefully, the combination of his interest and persistence is what Warner Bros. needs to bring the number one bounty hunter in the galaxy to the big screen.
