The next series is about a serial killer who travels through time.
Jamie bell is the latest star attached to Apple TV + The bright girls. The Rocketman the actor will join Elisabeth moss Y Wagner moura for the series that will be adapted and produced by Silka Luisa, as well as produced by Leonardo Dicaprio through their Appian Way Productions.
Based on the best-selling book by Lauren beukes, The bright girls is a sci-fi thriller about a 1930s Chicago serial killer who stumbles upon a time-traveling device. The killer must murder “bright girls”, or bright young women full of potential, in order to continue traveling through time. Circumstances change when one of his victims, Kirby Mazrachi, survives and begins to fight back. Moss has been cast as Kirby, so it seems likely that Bell was cast as the serial killer.
This will be Luisa’s debut series, a newcomer with only a few previous credits to her name. It will be quite a feat to adapt a time travel play like “The Shining Girls,” but with an incredible production team and cast behind it, this could be another Apple TV + hit.
Bell is a great addition to the cast, coming off a wonderful performance on Amazon’s newly launched series. No regrets. He has also been chosen as the dance icon. Fred asstaire opposite Margaret qualley What Ginger rogers in the next biopic Fred and gingerand i just finished filming Surrounded, a western starring Letitia wright Y Michael K. Williams. Bell and his No regrets co-star Michael B. Jordan they are certainly making up for the disappointing Fantastic four with its excellent project options, such as The bright girls It seems like an excellent opportunity for audiences to see another side of Bell’s performance.
Moss joined the project in the summer of 2020, and we did not receive any new information until February 2021 with the casting of Moura. Production is said to begin this summer in Chicago, so hopefully we won’t have long to wait for the series.
