Poison: let there be slaughter Director Andy Serkis revealed how Eddie Brock will be sucked into the world of Cletus Kasady in the sequel.

Serkis spoke with IGN on Sony’s next film after the release of the Poison 2 trailer for today. In addition to breaking some Easter eggs and confirming that Shriek will be in the movie, Serkis explained how exactly Venom and Carnage will go head-to-head.

“They both had strange upbringings with strange relationships with their parents and their families. And there is an inherent loneliness that they both recognize in each other,” Serkis said. “Cletus is actually coming over and will only talk to Eddie Brock. That’s at the beginning of the story, we learn that he’s the only one he’s going to talk to.
