REPORT: WWE re-signs Zelina Vega seven months after her release

A report claims that former WWE Superstar Zelina Vega will re-sign with the company after she was released seven months ago in November 2020.

Former WWE Superstar Zelina Vega reportedly re-signed with the company following her release seven months ago.

While her husband Aleister Black is still part of the main WWE roster, Vega was filmed while on WWE PC. The report goes on to say that the plan is for Zelina Vega to officially return to WWE. Zelina Vega was released by WWE on November 13, 2020, minutes after expressing her support for unionized wrestlers on social media. His Twitter post simply read, “I support unionization.” This was followed by the official WWE Twitter account sharing the news that Vega had been released. “WWE has reached an agreement on the release of Zelina Vega,” the WWE.com article read. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Much of the speculation about Vega’s launch in WWE stemmed from the company cracking down on wrestlers using third-party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo. The Wrestling observer reported that Zelina Vega made more money from Twitch than WWE, and WWE responded by revealing that Zelina Vega was fired for opening an OnlyFans account.
