What if …? The episode will see Thor never be sent to Earth and instead travel to Midgard to throw a party that could end the world.
An episode of the upcoming Marvel Studios television series. What if…? You can see Thor throwing an intergalactic party that could bring the end of the world as we know it.
As reported by The Illuminerdi, the episode, which focuses on “Party Thor”, reverses the events of 2011 Thor with the Asgardian God of Thunder who was never banished to Earth and found his humility. Instead, Thor reportedly travels to Midgard to throw a massive party with drastic implications.
In the first Thor In the film, the eponymous superhero is banished to Earth by his father Odin after he puts Asgard on the brink of war with Jotunheim, the kingdom of the giants. The movie sees the hero stripped of his powers and hammering on the day of his coronation and forced to prove his worth and win the throne.

The fourth MCU series to see its debut in 2021, What if…? explores what might have happened if important moments in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe happened differently. It will be the first animated title in the cinematic universe and is scheduled to premiere in August with a 10-episode season.
While the plots of specific episodes have yet to be detailed, Marvel has teased the premise of some of them, including “Party Thor,” which was first teased in leaked merchandise images. An episode of What if…? will be an alternate version of Captain America the First Avenger and sees Peggy Carter absorbing the Super Soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers. Another finds the role of Guardians of the GalaxyStar-Lord taken over by T’Challa, better known as the Black Panther, suggesting that the Ravagers choose the prince of Wakanda over Peter Quill. Another episode will suit Marvel zombies, a Marvel Comics miniseries where the heroes of the Marvel Universe are turned into undead creatures. This will include a confrontation between Bucky Barnes, aka Winter Soldier, and a zombified Captain America.
Created by AC Bradley and directed by Bryan Andrews, What if…? stars Jeffrey Wright, Samuel L. Jackson, Hayley Atwell, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Hiddleston, Michael Rooker, Chris Hemsworth, Dominic Cooper, Jeremy Renner, and more. The series premieres in August on Disney +.
