ESPN has decided to give Space Jam: a new legacy the documentary treatment with the release of “The Bunny & The GOAT”, a special 30 by 30 episode about the epic game featuring Lebron James and the Tune Squad. While the 30 by 30 documentary series generally focuses on real-world events that shaped the history of the sport, “The Bunny & The GOAT” is a fun parody of the format that doubles as one of the best pieces in the game. Space jam the already great marketing campaign of the sequel.
The 30 by 30 special episode features James himself talking about the game with Tune Squad as a past event that he defines as “easily the biggest challenge of my career.” Using the documentary format, the special episode also interviews some of the cast members. from Space Jam: a new legacy while they are still in character. That includes Don cheadle, who plays the evil algorithm Al G. Rhythm, well, “sinister”, since he does not like to be called “evil”.
By mixing animation and live action, the episode 30 by 30 gives prominence to part of the animated cast of Space Jam: a new legacy by allowing the Tunes to explain the obstacles the team had to face in trying to work together. By the tone of the interviews, James will have to deal with the egos of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, as well as the quirks of all the crazy members of the Looney Tunes.
Space Jam: a new legacy will take James to the virtual world after his son Dom (Cedric joe) is kidnapped by a rogue AI (Cheadle). There, the basketball star will join forces with the Looney Tunes to decide his son’s fate in an epic game. The film’s voice cast includes Jeff Bergman (Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn and Fred Flintstone), Eric Bauza (Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian), zendaya (Lola Bunny), Bob bergen (Porky Pig and Tweety), Jim cummings (Tasmanian devil), Gabriel Iglesias (Speedy Gonzales) and Candi Milo (Granny). They will face off against members of the Goon Squad played by professional basketball stars. Klay thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Diana Taurasi, Y Nneka ogwumike.
