Step back in your Facts with the Resurrection!

Earlier this year, BlizzCon 2021’s flurry of announcements included Blizzard revealing that Diablo II: Risen would come to both consoles and PC at a long-awaited future date. Now, courtesy of E3, that date has been confirmed. And you can watch an all-new promoted trailer while marking that date on your calendar.

Featuring physics-based 3D graphics, new animations, spell effects, 4K resolution, and a new mix of Dolby 7.1 surround sound, you can check out that trailer below. You’ll just have to wait until September 23 to see them all in action for yourself!

During BlizzCon, J. Allen Brack, President of Blizzard Entertainment, said:

With Diablo II: Resurrected, we are excited to bring this classic back to PC and consoles, cross-progression on supported platforms, so that Players can relive their memories or experience the timeless gameplay of Diablo II for the first time, on a platform of their choice. With the new high-resolution audio and video in Diablo II: Resurrected, the game is as fun and engaging today as it was. twenty years ago. ”

Here’s the official synopsis:

Diablo II: Resurrected is an all-inclusive package that contains a lifetime of adventure. It will take players to the mortal world of Sanctuary, where they will face Diablo, the Lord of Terror, and the forces of Hell through the four thrilling acts of the original Diablo II campaign. They will meet beloved mentor and scholar Deckard Cain, fight alongside Archangel Tyrael, and meet other pantheonic characters who have become an indelible part of video game history. This edition also includes all content from the Lord of Destruction expansion, and the journey continues through Act V, where players will face the dangers of Mount Arreat before facing Baal, the eponymous Lord of Destruction.
