The poster was created by artist Robert Beatty, perhaps best known for his album cover.
Driving home late at night during a heavy storm, Glen experiences car problems. Near where his car gets stuck, he sees a house, knocks on the door, and is greeted by an oddly friendly middle-aged man, Arthur, and his younger wife, Cyndi. The odd couple pours him a drink, and then more drinks, followed by an unexpected offer that Glen can’t refuse. Elsewhere, a young woman, Katie, is emotionally burdened by a secret romantic arrangement that feels like a textbook case of gaslighting. And at the same time, in a nondescript research facility, medical professional Shannon begins to question her role in a strange experiment, fearing that she is doing more harm than good.
Directed by Rob Schroeder from a script by Conor Stechschulte, Ultrasound stars Vincent Kartheiser, Breeda Wool, Rainey Qualley, Tunde Adebimpe, Chelsea Lopez, and Bob Stephenson. The film will premiere worldwide at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 15..
