The Legends of Tomorrow relive the thrilling conclusion of the fifth season in a promo for the sixth season episode “Back to the Finale Part II.”
Next weeks Legends of tomorrow will see the crew of the Waverider attempt to prevent Sara Lance’s alien fate, with catastrophic results expected.
The promotion for the seventh episode of season 6, sharply titled “Back to the Finale Part II,” it begins with a meta-joke about the team revisiting the “end of last year” as a location, with Nate describing these events as “quite funny, except the one I died in. ” However, it turns out that Behrad has returned to this date to save Sara from being abducted by aliens, with another clip reiterating her Return to the future-inspired decision through a blackboard with Back to the future II circled in red. Despite his best intentions, Behrad’s decision is ultimately challenged by Ava, who warns him not to change the past because “it always causes millions of ripples.”
Meanwhile, brief clips of Sara’s story show her meeting up with Mick and escaping from Bishop’s facility alongside him and what appears to be Nurse Ava’s clone, telling someone, “We’re going to blow up this place.” She, Mick, and Gary then evade some explosions, only for the promo to reveal Bishop aboard the Waverider.
