For anyone who has ever wanted to learn to program from the mind into Nintendo, its recently released title Game Builder’s Garage aims to do just that. By working alongside friendly coding tools known as Nodons, gamers can learn to create a host of different video games, including recreations of some other famous releases.
The game is presented as an educational but fun way to learn to code and develop games. Nintendo released Game Builder’s Garage On June 11, and in the short time since, Nintendo fans have figured out how to get the most out of the tools they’ve been given. Game Builder’s Garage introduces players to various tutorials that guide them step-by-step through the creation of various unique game stages. From there, they are given the opportunity to create original titles completely from scratch.

However, the new sandbox games are not the only thing that players have been creating. The extensive programming functionality provided in Game Builder’s Garage has also allowed some dedicated fans to recreate other famous titles like Mario Kart or even FPS action CONDEMN. As more and more people find ways to be creative, it seems likely that even more AAA games will appear in the Game Builder’s Garage community.
