V / H / S 94, the fourth installment in the horror anthology series, will be released exclusively on the horror streaming service, Shudder.

The fourth installment of the V / H / S horror anthology franchise (titled V / H / S / 94) will be released later this year on horror streaming service Shudder. The first film was released in 2012 after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in the same year, which was followed by two sequels. Each entry is a collection of short found-footage horror films, embedded within the framework of a central narrative that ties them together.

The plot for V / H / S / 94 is set when a mysterious VHS tape is discovered, resulting in the warehouse raid by a swat police team. They find several tapes of a sect that reveal a gruesome conspiracy. The next film is directed by David Bruckner (V / H / S – “Fan night”, The house of the night). Other filmmakers involved are Simon Barrett (You are next, witch), Timo Tjahjanto (V / H / S / 2 – “Safe haven,” The night is coming for us), Chloe Okuno (Bitch), Jennifer Reeder (Knives and leather) and Ryan Prows (Bad life).

It has been announced by Bloody disgusting what V / H / S / 94 It will be an Original Shudder and will be released in North America, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand later this year. Producer Josh Goldbloom and Craig Engler, Shudder’s general manager, expressed their enthusiasm for working together. Both original quotes can be read below:

With V / H / S / 94, the producers have improved their game: bigger, wilder, scarier than ever. We are looking forward to releasing this new installment on the members of Shudder.
