Liam Neeson is a 69 year old man who keeps in shape. However, he is very surprised to have such a high demand for roles in action movies.

Liam Neeson is surprised he’s still being cast in action movies at his age. At 69, the actor has more than a hundred acting credits to his name. Neeson earned an Oscar nomination for his work on Steven Spielberg Schindler’s list in 1993. He has worked in a wide variety of genres over the years, including action, drama, and animated films.

At the time of writing this article, the Taken Star continues to take on action roles. In an interview with Weekly entertainment, Neeson spoke about his status as an action movie star. He mentioned that he had no idea that Taken It would launch in such an important way, but it changed the trajectory of his career. He thought that as he got older, he still wouldn’t get these action roles. However, his age has not slowed down the demand. Read Neeson’s statement below:

I’m 69! I just turned 69 and the conversations I have with my agent now are: ‘Liam, have you read this script? It’s an action script, ‘and I’m like,’ Chris, let me ask you this, they know how old I am, right? ‘ ‘They Yes.’ Okay, that’s all I want to know, thank you. That said, I do stay reasonably fit, and you only have to for some of these movies. If you are playing the lead role in any movie, you have the responsibility; you are in practically all the scenes, it is convenient for you to be in shape. You don’t have to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger at 35, but you do have to have stamina. So I do my little workouts every day and stay reasonably fit.

Shooter Liam Neeson Taken Action Movie Trouble

Even though Neeson is still no stranger to action movies, he still does occasional dramas, including titles like Be quiet, Ordinary love, and when he lent his voice for the heartfelt A monster calls. However, most of his roles are in action or thriller movies. Even if you feel like you’re getting a bit older to make these movies, the filmmakers don’t feel the same feeling. There are some actors who are older than Neeson who are still doing action roles, including Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford. Stallone was most recently in Rambo: Last Blood, although Ford was injured on the set of the next Indiana Jones draft.

If Neeson makes the decision to stop making action movies, that is a valid decision that must be respected. However, if you enjoy the job and can continue to do it, you must continue to accept the parts. Hollywood has been known for its age discrimination for many years, so seeing more mature actors landing roles is a good thing. Neeson has remained in good shape, but who knows how long he will want to continue accepting action roles.
