A gamer has revealed a series of beautiful Xbox Design Lab controllers based on various fan-favorite Pokémon, including Giratina, Charizard, and Yveltal.

While an officer Pokemon And collaboration with Xbox is unlikely, Microsoft’s new custom controller creation suite means gamers can create their own controller with colors the same or similar to those of their favorite pocket monsters, despite some initial issues with the Design Lab service that caused some frustrations.

Xbox Design Lab returned in June after a temporary hiatus when the website moved from Xbox One controllers to the new Xbox Series X / S, and it has proven so popular that Design Lab errors resulted in gift cards $ 10 free were trouble. Reddit User commando12345 has shared his own 20 creations based on a variety of different Pokémon spanning all generations. Highlights include an Ivysaur-based controller, complete with pink accents similar to the cocoon that Ivysaur has on its back, as well as a colorful Giratina-style controller and a stunning reworking of Yveltal. Reddit users have particularly appreciated a Charizard controller, which is created from colors remarkably similar to Fire-type Pokémon.

Pokémon-Inspired Xbox Series X Controllers Made With Design Lab

Xbox Design Lab has delighted gamers with the ability to create custom controllers to add to their collection, with plenty of tips for creating unique Xbox Series X / S controller designs that are shared online. Some are longing for Nintendo to join the idea with the Nintendo Switch Pro controller. The Pro Controller is a much more robust and reliable option for Switch gamers looking to avoid Joy-Con drift, but the official controller is only available in black. (except for some special editions). Third-party Nintendo Switch controllers can be purchased in a wide range of designs and styles, but Nintendo has yet to branch out into customizable peripherals.

Despite its success, the relaunch of the service has not been without its problems. Many found flaws in the website after it became known that the forbidden words on Xbox Design Lab are wildly inconsistent in execution and effectiveness. The return of Design Lab needs some changes to its main formula, but the service is expected to solve its problems and expand to include even more customization options in the future.
