Black Widow has already been given an ending, but his perfect ending happened years ago and he was quickly reconfigured. This is what happened.

Black widow will take viewers a couple of years back to meet Natasha Romanoff for the last time, and though her fate has already been sealed in Avengers Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe had already reconfigured its perfect ending. Although the Infinity Saga has now come to an end and with it the arcs of most of the original Avengers, the MCU is taking a few steps back to revisit the story of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and answer some questions about her past in Black widow.

Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War Y Avengers: infinity war, Black widow will follow Natasha when she arrives in Russia to hide while on the run after the Civil War conflict, in which she ended up siding with Steve Rogers. Once there, he will reunite with his Russian family, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), and Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian (David Harbor), and meet a unique villain named Taskmaster, who has the ability to imitate the movements and fighting style of everyone you watch. Natasha was one of the few heroes who survived Thanos’ attack. Avengers: infinity war, and she was part of the heist from time to time Avengers Endgame, teaming up with Hawkeye to retrieve the Soul Stone from Vormir. Natasha ended up sacrificing herself so that Hawkeye could take the stone and return to her present, and since she did not die as a result of the snap, she was unable to return through the Hulk’s snap. The ending that the MCU gave Natasha has been quite controversial, even more so because he had already given her a perfect one in Captain America: The Winter Soldierand it didn’t take long to reconnect.

After the revelation that HYDRA was still active and operating within SHIELD, leading to the downfall of the agency, many secrets kept by SHIELD were made public, putting many people at risk, including Natasha. In the final minutes of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Natasha met Steve at the cemetery where Nick Fury’s fake grave was and told him that all of his blankets had been revealed, so he needed a new identity. Giving Natasha a new identity after she atoned for her sins and her crimes were made public (thus showing how hard she had worked to overcome them) would have allowed her to retire and have the peaceful life she could never have. but they brought her back shortly after. The next Avengers adventure after The Winter Soldier was Avengers: Age of Ultron, followed by Captain America: Civil War, and Natasha was brought back without any problem and not to mention her new identity and her life afterWinter Soldier.

Having Natasha retired and living a peaceful new life under a new identity would have been the perfect closure for a character who went through a lot of pain and tragedy since she was young. Of course, Black widow You can’t give him a different and better ending, but he can at least give you a final adventure through which many questions about his past will be answered, but the damage is already done when it comes to how his arc ended.
