Dexter revival star Jamie Chung teases her character Molly Park and how her true crimes podcast will be another potential danger to Dexter.
Jamie Chung says his character in the Right handed revival runs a true crime podcast, which will pose a threat to Dexter. Chung began working in entertainment in 2004 in The real world: San Diego, although his career would turn out to be much larger than reality television. He would go on to act in major Hollywood movies, as well as independent feature films. She is best known for her roles in The adults, Sorority row, The Hangover Part II, Sucker Punch, Y Big hero 6.
Showtime made its series a phenomenon Right handed in 2006, which follows Dexter Morgan, who leads a double life working for the Miami Metro Police Department during the day, while being a serial killer who targets killers at night. The show would continue to run until 2013. After working on the show’s first 4 seasons, showrunner Clyde Phillips parted ways with the show. The series continued for another 4 seasons, although the audience was angry with the way things ended. Showtime announced that Right handed would be returning for a 10-episode series with Phillips returning as showrunner and Michael C. Hall returning to play the title role.

In an interview with THR, Chung expressed his enthusiasm for being a part of the Right handed Renaissance. She mentioned that starring in the Showtime series has been her dream, which is now becoming a reality. Chung assured that Phillips has a very specific vision to which he will not give in. Also, she talked about her character, Molly Park, who is a famous true crimes podcaster, who will be a real danger to Dexter. Read Chung’s full comment below:
(Laughter.) Yes, in essence, it’s exactly what Dexter fans want. Molly Park’s character is so fun and vibrant. And true crime podcasting is a fairly new medium in terms of true crimes, and bringing that into Dexter’s world is another threat to reveal his identity. So it’s been a lot of fun. (Laughter.) Really fun.
More recently, Chung has continued to lend her voice to Big hero 6 in the form of a television series. She also starred Lovecraft country as Ji-Ah, where she gave a particularly exceptional performance. Chung was also announced as part of Zack Snyder’s Nordic-inspired series, Twilight of the gods, like Hel. Molly will be a different role for Chung, but it will be exciting to see what she does with it.
Right handed began to go downhill after its legendary fourth season, which is known as the season with the Trinity Killer (John Lithgow). It was recently announced that Lithgow will be returning for the revival series, but little is known about how he will return. Having Phillips back as showrunner is perhaps the most reassuring news for the Showtime series. However, having the killer cast that the show has announced thus far is certainly nice to watch.
