Temuera Morrison says that several familiar faces from The Mandalorian will return to direct episodes of the spinoff series centered on Boba Fett.
Boba Fett’s book Star Temuera Morrison reveals that various directors of The mandalorian will return to direct episodes of the Fett-centric spinoff. The series was initially announced in a crafty post-credits stinger (a first in the franchise) at the end of The mandalorianend of the second season. Since then, Disney has announced that Robert Rodriguez will serve as Director and Executive Producer of Boba Fett’s book. The series will launch on Disney + this December.

In a recent interview with Express.co.uk, Morrison revealed several directors who would direct episodes of Boba Fett’s book. He says that in addition to Rodríguez, the series recruited “some great directors” even “[Jon] Favreau, Bryce [Dallas Howard], Dave Filoni ” – all of whom previously lent their talents directing episodes of The mandalorian.
Boba Fett’s book is the first in a series of spinoff programs based on the events of The mandalorian. The other two spin-offs currently announced are Ahsoka Y New Republic RangersAlthough Lucasfilm has reportedly shelved the latter for now. Little is known about what kinds of stories these projects will explore, other than the fact that they are destined to culminate in a crossover event in the Marvel vein. the Avengers Movie (s. When asked if the series would return for additional seasons, Morrison stated that “It has not been talked about.”
