The events of Loki Episode 5 shows just how strange the MCU’s multiverse will be. After being pruned by Ravonna Renslayer and subsequently thrown into a place at the end of time, Loki comes across more variants of himself. These variants welcome Loki and explain their dire situation: they are trapped in a world where everyone and everything the TVA discards either rots or is eaten by the monster Alioth. While the arrival of Sylvie and Mobius means that Loki’s stay in this cosmic prison is brief, the post-apocalyptic dystopia manages to give fans the most accurate view of the MCU’s multiverse yet.

Thanos-Copter’s infamous helmet, Throg, and Yellowjacket are just some of the wildest Easter eggs scattered everywhere. Loki Episode 5. Other unexpected elements include the real-life USS Eldridge and the enigmatic Polybius arcade machine. The Void is also populated by ball-headed birds and of course a wide variety of Loki variants including Alligator Loki and President Loki.
Everything Loki found in the Void is nothing more than an introduction to the wild journey that will be the MCU’s multiverse. The Void is just a dirty and abandoned world. Imagine what multiple different universes will bring to the MCU. Everyone can have their own trick. Perhaps one could adapt the futuristic properties of Marvel 2099, while another could be based on the animal-centric Earth-8311 and another could be filled with extremely comical versions of MCU characters, much like Classic Loki.
What it really does Loki episode 5 a strong step into the multiverse is the relevance of the strange elements of the show within the main story. The series has managed to transform a cartoon crocodile and clock into believable characters, giving Loki in a classic suit a sensational redemption and cementing Loki’s love for his female counterpart Sylvie as the heart of the show. With LokiThe wildest events that serve the story first, even the most absurd surprises do not break the viewer’s suspension of disbelief or derail Loki’s character arc.
With WandaVision Y Loki like the base, movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home Y Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Insanity can push the limits of audience expectations and introduce a full MCU multiverse where absolutely anything is possible. Loki may still be in awe of everything he’s witnessed since being captured by TVA, but the MCU’s multiverse craze is just beginning.
