Destiny 2: How to Unlock Weapons Lost in Time

Weapons Lost in Time are similar to Adept weapons obtained in Trials of Osiris, with unique modifications that can only be equipped with their weapon type in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer received one of its biggest updates yet, with a number of weapon changes and the inclusion of the Master difficulty for the Vault of Glass raid. Veteran Destination Players know that Vault of Glass is one of the most critical components of the game’s playable lore, originally included in the first Destination. Players who want to test their metal should take up this challenge. The Master version of VoG presents additional challenges, such as champions in each encounter.

Those considering tackling the Master version of Vault of Glass should bring a fire team whose average light level is at least 1340. The raid plays the same, but enemies deal more damage and are harder to defeat. Additionally, Atheon has a damage per second test and is as close to a “bullet sponge” as a raid boss can get. New loot has been added to the Master difficulty version of the Vault of Glass in the form of Timelost weapons.

Time Lost Weapons are similar to Adept Weapons obtained in Trials of Osiris, as they have unique mods that can only be equipped with their weapon type in Destination 2. The only way to earn Timelost weapons is by completing the Vault of Glass Weekly Raid Challenge on Master difficulty, not just completing the Raid on Master difficulty. Only one Timelost weapon is available per week, and the weekly challenge is completing the Vault of Glass raid.

Simply put, the first time a fire team completes the Vault of Glass raid in a week, they must complete it on Master difficulty. They can’t beat the raid, then go back and play Masters. Must be completed the first time of the week in Masters. Additionally, weapons lost in time cannot be exchanged for loot of conquest at the end of the Vault of Glass, unless players have already obtained that lost weapon. Each Timelost weapon has a shader specifically unique to the weapon. Disassembling it will not provide the shader and cannot be earned or equipped with another weapon.

Weapons lost in time also receive +3 to each stat when mastered, except for the hit stat, and may have adept mods equipped. The July 6 update released the first Timelost pistol, the Hezen Vengeance Rocket Launcher, and the next weekly update will see a new Timelost pistol in its place. The six weapons lost in time are:

  • Revenge Hezen (Rocket launcher)
  • The Avenger of Praedyth (Sniper’s rifle)
  • Corrective measure (Machine gun)
  • Fatebringer (Hand cannon)
  • Verdict found (Shotgun)
  • Confluence Vision (Scout Rifle)

The Lost in Time Shotgun Found Verdict can also be obtained as a reward for players who complete the Vault of Glass triumph named Master Glasser. This triumph requires players to complete all encounter challenges in Vault of Glass on Master difficulty. The five challenges are:

  • Conflux challenge
  • Challenge of the oracles
  • Templar challenge
  • Guardians Challenge
  • Atheon Challenge

The master difficulty version of the Vault of Glass raid is available on all platforms where Destiny 2 can be played. Completing the Vault of Glass in Masters also has a chance to reward players with Upgrade Prisms, Ascendant Shards, and a piece of armor with a high stat. The statistic also rotates weekly.
