Episode 5 of ‘Loki’ had a Chris Hemsworth cameo that almost everyone missed

Turns out Chris Hemsworth appeared on last week’s episode of Loki although, in a very small role. Apparently, he played the frog trapped in the little jar. Many fans missed it, but according to director Kate Herron, the voice of the frog is none other than Chris Hemsworth himself.

Frog Thor or Throg struggled to escape from a glass jar, while the Lokis made their way down a cellar. The shot also gave a glimpse of Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. Episode 5 of Loki is being hailed as the best yet by many fans, and in a way, it really is. Full of action and good character development, the episode was great. Loki director Kate Herron joined For all the nerds for an interview, where she dropped the beans about Hemsworth’s secret cameo. While saying his favorite easter eggs from the episode, Herron said:

“Throg, obviously ushering him in. We recorded Chris Hemsworth for that, by the way. We recorded it for that. His voice said ‘Ahhh!’ That is a completely new recording. Not recycled. He recorded that. “

With Thor, Episode 5 of Loki featured numerous Easter eggs and references to Marvel comics, with the Thanos helicopter and Yellowjacket’s helmet being one of them. Various fan theories have been circulating on the internet, particularly in the Ant-Man villain’s helmet, that the Time Variation Authority or TVA exists in the quantum realm.

Several variants of Loki also appeared in the episode, which, like Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, were also removed by TVA. But it turns out that those poor variants, which are pruned, are not erased from existence but are thrown into ‘The Void’, a dangerous place just before the end of time.

Richard Grant appeared as the classic Loki and was without a doubt the MVP of the episode. Along with his older, more mature and powerful version of Loki, the episode also saw Hiddleston meeting the boastful Loki, the boy Loki, and the alligator Loki. There were also a few others.

Writer and producer Eric Martin further revealed on Twitter that there was another scene involving Loki and Throg that was filmed but did not make the final cut. “We actually shot a scene for the Time Theater in the first episode of Loki getting hit by Frog Thor, but had to cut him down to keep things moving. It’s a shame, because Tom was so funny, “Martin wrote on Twitter.

Many fans were wondering if Thor will appear in Loki, but with multiple versions of Loki already on the show and only six episodes, he may have been overloaded with Hemsworth appearing in a major role. Almost every other character on the show has turned out to be Loki. With one more episode to play, Kang has been predicted to appear as the bad boy behind TVA, but from what we’ve seen so far, the man behind TVA will likely be another iteration of Loki.

Hemsworth will return in Thor: love and thunder alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy for another crazy adventure next summer. But sadly, Tom Hiddleston will not appear in the film. Hopefully the Loki The final release on July 14 will answer all questions. This news comes to us through Nerdist.
