An expert Valheim builder has recreated the iconic bathhouse from Studio Ghibli’s beloved 2001 film Spirited Away, without the use of modifications.
An incredibly skilled Valheim architect has built the iconic bathhouse from Studio Ghibli’s critically acclaimed 2001 film, Made disappear. The only hand-drawn film to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Made disappear is Studio Ghibli’s most successful title, having earned more than $ 359 million in revenue, making it the second-highest-grossing anime film to date.
Debuting in February this year as an Early Access title on Steam, the Norse mythology-themed sandbox survival game. Valheim received overwhelming success, something that Iron Gate Studio, a small Swedish team of five, did not expect. As a result, the independent study has worked tirelessly to provide bug fixes for ValheimHuge player base, with its current focus on patches delaying the long-awaited Hearth & Home content update. Initially planned for a second quarter 2021 release, ValheimThe Hearth & Home update is now expected in the third quarter and will bring a host of content aimed at improving construction and cooking in the game.
Reddit User caeus_plays recently showcased his expert crafting Valheim construction of the Yubaba bathhouse from the animated film, Made disappear. While the grand structure is certainly a sight to behold, what is perhaps even more impressive about the construction is that the massive bathhouse was completed solely in the game’s creative mode, without the aid of modifications. The absence of modifications adds a considerable amount of challenge to building larger creations in Valheimas players must also take into account the structural integrity feature of the game, which causes structures to crumble without proper support. The bathhouse, standing at a staggering five stories tall, is not a complete recreation of the building from the movie, replacing the large multi-bedroom ground-level bathrooms to make it more functional for players to use as a base. . .
While such a large build may seem impossible without the use of modifications, caeus_plays revealed that they managed to accomplish such a feat by stabilizing the massive structure with the use of wooden and iron posts, which are cleverly hidden within normal wooden beams. With the help of creative mode and a bit of Viking ingenuity, caeus_plays took about ten hours to complete and can be downloaded for any player who wants to own their own bathhouse. A seasoned Valheim architect, caeus_plays has created a host of incredible in-game constructions, including a brilliant recreation of the Skeld map from Among us.
Valheim Players continue to impress with their impressive builds, which will no doubt get even more spectacular when more building resources are released with the Home and Hearth update later this year. The construction of the caeus_plays bathhouse is a magnificent tribute to the beloved Studio Ghibli movie, while still being practical for would-be Viking inhabitants. The changes to its interior also mean that players won’t have to accommodate Bonemass in case they come looking for a bathroom.
