Funimation releases a new trailer for Sing a Bit of Harmony, the new anime from the director of the acclaimed Patema Inverted.
Funimation has released a new trailer for Sing some harmony, the new full-length anime that the company is co-producing.
Sing some harmony is the last work of director Yasuhiro Yoshiura, better known as the director of 2013’s Inverted patema and has also worked on Eva time Y Evangelion 2.0: can (not) advance. The film is being co-produced by the anime distributor. Funimation and veteran animation studio JC Staff, which previously animated anime series such as Revolutionary girl Utena, Food Wars: Shokugeki No Soma and meIs it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon? Harmony is co-written by Ichirou Ohkouchi, who previously worked on Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebellion Y Lupine the third part 5. The stranger by the shoreKanna Kii provided character designs while Trigun: Badlands RumbleHidekazu Shimamura served as the film’s animation director.
The film tells the story of Satomi, voiced by Kaguya-sama: Love is war?Haruka Fukuhara, a high school student who is a loner until new student Shion, voiced by ErasedTao Tsuchiya arrives at his school and begins to serenade him in the middle of class. Satomi and her classmates quickly discover that Shion is an experimental AI who has been sent to her school as part of an experiment. Although Shion is far from normal, Satomi and her new friends quickly approach the peculiar android and embark on a dangerous quest to rescue her when the company that built her tries to get her back.
The film will open in Japan this October, and Funimation has confirmed that it will release the film in theaters in the United States and Canada on an unspecified date as well.
