A Marvel fan comes up with a mockup of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer that imagines Peter Parker and Doctor Strange recruiting the Spider-Men.

As everyone waits for the first official look at Spider-Man: No Way Home, a Marvel fan has created a trailer that imagines Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) teaming up to recruit other versions of the web-throwing hero. Even with only five months until the Jon Watts-directed film hits theaters, there has been no clear indication of when audiences can expect the long-awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. Understandably, this has frustrated some who had been waiting for it for the past few months.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment have been silent on the film until now. Naturally, the rumors have kept the public busy for now. While nothing concrete has been revealed about the premise of the film, it is assumed that Spider-Man: No Way Home it will deal directly with the multiverse. This is supported by the events of Loki which officially gave birth to the concept, with several timelines already overlapping each other on the heels of the death of He Who Remains. Combine this with the mounting evidence supporting this idea, and many hope that previous incarnations of Spider-Man played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be a factor in the box office success.

This is the inspiration behind the new fan-trailer created by the Reddit user. TaranStark. The video begins with the configuration of Spider-Man: Far From Home where Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) not only revealed the hero’s true identity, but also framed him for his death. Eventually, he leads a team between Peter and Doctor Strange as they recruit Spider-Men from other universes to deal with the ramifications of the multiverse in chaos. Look the following video.

Weather Spider-Man: No Way Home will likely deal with the multiverse given its confirmed narrative connection with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Insanity, must also address Spider-Man: Far From Homesuspense. Before rumors about Maguire and Garfield’s appearance in the film began to circulate, the third part was expected to primarily deal with the aftermath of Peter’s fight with Mysterio. Many speculated that Kraven the Hunter would be the main villain, which dovetailed with the alleged premise of the blockbuster. Looking back, this would have worked for the movie as well, but it would have detached itself from the general story that Marvel Studios is building.

Despite the silence from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment, it seems likely that the marketing of Spider-Man: No Way Home it will start sooner rather than later. Now that the multiverse is officially unleashed after Loki, the promotional campaign for the threequel could reveal more about its history, assuming that it will in fact be about the multiverse. The fan trailer certainly makes a good argument for the story to work well. Whatever the case, audiences are looking forward to what Watts and Holland have put together for potentially their latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
