All 10 seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead are now streaming free on numerous platforms ahead of the show’s eleventh and final season.
The ten seasons of The Walking Dead it will now air for free before the final season. Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore’s post-apocalyptic comic series debuted in 2003 and became a television show on AMC in 2010.
Showrunner Frank Darabont guided that momentous first season of The Walking Dead he was highly successful, but was fired by AMC after just one year and then sued the network for unpaid earnings (the lawsuit was recently settled). Over the course of its spooky and sometimes soapy first seasons, TWD garnered a growing audience, eventually becoming the highest-rated scripted series on television. But the disappointment of fans started in season 7 and the viewership ratings began to decline. Many of the show’s main characters have come out in recent seasons, but nonetheless The Walking Dead The universe continues to unfold big plans, with multiple spin-offs already on the air or in the works and a trilogy of movies focusing on the character of Rick Grimes also keeps on promising. The next Living Dead Season 11, a 24-episode oversized affair, will be the show’s last.

The list of platforms involved in AMC’s #ReWatchingDead event includes PlutoTV, Samsung TV Plus, VIZIO WatchFree +, IMDb TV, Xumo TV, Plex, and Sling TV. The episodes will be available through The Walking Dead Universe or Stories by AMC on those services. AMC, of course, has been heavily involved in promoting the latest season of The Walking Dead through its Walking Dead: Origins Specials, which chart the journeys of the show’s main characters with the help of actual cast members, who narrate each episode.
Rewatching the first ten seasons of The Walking Dead in fact, it would be a great way for superfans to enter season 11 with a lot of momentum. If watching each episode again is too complicated, fans can always pick their favorites to revisit one more time.
