Samuel L. Jackson has returned to work on the set of Secret invasion. An upcoming Marvel Studios series in development for Disney +, the show brings Jackson back to once again portray Nick Fury, one of the most popular and important characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a post on Instagram, Jackson reveals that he is wearing a Nick Fury shirt while revealing that he is now “back on the attack” in Secret invasion. You can see the post below.
“Time to get back on track. Happy to get back on the attack!” Samuel L. Jackson write in the caption. Also use the hashtags #secretinvasion, # f – kthatsnap, and #backwithafury.
Kyle Bradstreet is developing Secret invasion for Disney +, and the series is based on the Marvel comic of the same name by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu. Along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, the show will star Ben Mendelsohn as Talos as shapeshifting Skrulls infiltrate the planet. Kingsley Ben-Adir will play a main villain, while the cast also features Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, and Christopher McDonald in mysterious roles.
“I’m pretty sure we can say it’s called Secret invasion, but I’m already scared, “said Clarke, best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in game of Thrones, said of Secret invasion, by Tonight’s show. “The first people I spoke to from Marvel were their security team and I am convinced that there is a man outside my house, there has been a car parked there for a long time, and I swear to God, he is undercover.”
Because she’s worried about dropping spoilers, Clarke isn’t saying who she’ll be playing on the series, although there has been some speculation from fans that it will be the MCU’s Spider-Woman. In any case, he mocked his character in a Happy Sad Confused podcast interview saying, “In fact, I live in fear that something will happen, and I’m going to say something, and they’ll get mad. But, I play a character. that I like a lot “.
Secret invasion It won’t have the massive scale of the Avengers movies, despite the fact that the source material has many more characters than in the television series adaptation. Speaking to Comicbook.com earlier this year, Kevin Feige explained, “Well, there were more characters in the Secret invasion comic series of which there were in Endgame then no. It’s not that, but it’s very much a showcase for Sam Jackson and Ben Mendelson and tapping into elements of paranoia from the Secret Invasion comic series that was great with the twists and turns it took. So that’s certainly our approach more than, ‘Can we get in more characters than Endgame? how to post? ‘”
Secret invasion It’s expected to premiere exclusively on Disney + sometime in 2022, but an official date has yet to be announced. As part of Phase Four of the MCU, the season will consist of six episodes in total. It’s one of several new Marvel shows in the works on Disney + following the success of this year’s titles like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki. The news of the start of production of the new program comes to us from the official Instagram account of Samuel L. Jackson.
