We have already seen the new Morbius trailer and it has many references to Spider-Man.

From what we have been able to read through social networks, there is some confusion about Morbius (Jared Leto), since it is not known in what Marvel Cinematic Universe it’s found. But the funny thing is that there are references to different versions of Spiderman. Here is the trailer for you to enjoy one more time:

For starters, we can see in the trailer of Morbius a mural of Spiderman with the word “killer” spray painted on it. The suit we see is not that of Tom holland, but is that of the time of Sam raimi.

What’s more Morbius read a copy of The Daily Bugle from J. Jonah Jameson, whose design looks like one from the first three movies and is different from any appearance the newspaper has made in The amazing spider from Andrew Garfield. So there is an obvious connection to the Spiderman from Tobey Maguire.

When Morbius is reading The Daily Bugle, the headlines are related to him. But there are two little stories that you can read: “RHINO LOOSE: ZOO HOAX DECEIVES US ALL”, “BLACK CAT: FRIEND OR ENEMY”. So it exists in this Universe Rhino and Black Cat, we must also remember that both exist in the saga The amazing Spider Man starring Andrew Garfield. Not forgetting that in this trailer we can see a building with the logo of Oscorp of those two movies. But also, there is a file about Dr. Connor which was interpreted by Rhys Ifans since he was the villain lizard.
