With a new teaser showing Eleven’s new life in California recently released, we also have a very cool new poster for Strange things. The poster appears to be more of a tribute to the series than something strictly promoting the upcoming fourth season, as it comes in the design of a map of the town of Hawkins. What it does do is show us how far the show has come in terms of taking the story to multiple locations in Season 4.

The poster was created by Kyle Lambert and shows the various places that audiences have seen throughout the series. We see scenarios like Hawkins High and the Hawkins National Laboratory, which are performed alongside a couple of Demogorgons. We also see the Chicago skyline that takes us back to season 2 and the episode “The Lost Sister.” Eagle-eyed fans can also see the gang members in some spots on the poster, riding their bikes and dressed as Ghostbusters characters.

It’s great to see all the familiar locations, but they aren’t the only ones found on the poster. Shown is Byers’ new house that we saw in the new sneak peek, as well as the Russian facility that Hopper (David Harbor) is detained in. Yes, he is alive and well and with the Russians … again.

The poster was unveiled as part of Stranger Things Day, a celebration of all the Stranger Things fans that Netflix had to commemorate the fateful day that Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) disappeared in the Upside Down. A new trailer was also unveiled for the celebration, along with a list of the new season’s nine episode titles.

Now we don’t have an official release date for season 4 yet (yes, we have to wait again). But I’d bet the official day would be announced soon based on all the hype and the long run, I mean long, wait we have had between seasons. We know the titles of the episodes of the last season and that it will come out in 2022, but exactly what day? That is the big question.

There has been a lot of talk about the show since it debuted on Netflix. However, with multiple delays and rejections due to the pandemic, many fans have been expressing their frustration at the time that has passed. Hopefully now that the new season is approaching and there is talk that the final season is in the works, we won’t have to wait that long to see what happens.

Take a look at the new poster and let us know what you think. Also, who’s ready for season four? I know I am and have been since Season 3 ended. Stranger Things 4 is coming to Netflix in the summer of 2022.
