The second trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home it’s here. As perhaps the most anticipated movie of the year (or in many years, really), No way home has tremendous excitement surrounding his next release. For now, fans can only see the stills that have been released and trailers, and can see what’s next for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the monumental film by watching the new trailer below.

There’s a huge emphasis on villains in this new trailer, which includes tons of new footage of Alfred Molina as Doc Ock. We also get a better look at Willem Dafoe’s green goblin, along with confirmation from other villains like Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman. The big question many fans were wondering upon entering was whether the other Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, would show up, but they wouldn’t, with Peter Parker taking on all these villains without them. Could Sony be saving them for the movies?

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

This trailer was first unveiled at a special fan launch event in Los Angeles. We knew of several of the great characters that were returning, such as Alfred Molina as Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, but this new trailer also brings a few other surprises. We can be sure that Marvel and Sony are still packing up some of the biggest surprises for the release of the movie itself with Spider-Man: No Way Home opens in theaters next month.

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker with Benedict Cumberbatch also returning as Doctor Strange, and it seems like the relationship between the two is broken in the movie. Before the release of the second trailer, Holland talked about what’s next for the superheroes, suggesting that Doctor Strange won’t be Peter’s new mentor after Tony Stark’s death.

“It’s a very different relationship [from Tony Stark and Peter Parker]Holland said, via Games Radar. I wouldn’t consider Doctor Strange as a mentor in this movie, he’s more like a colleague. At this point in the movies, Spider-Man has established himself as a pretty powerful and serious Avenger. Doctor Strange sees that in him and treats him as an equal. And throughout the movie, their relationship breaks down. And instead of becoming colleagues, they do not become enemies, but they are definitely not friends. “

Of course, the biggest draw for Spider-Man: No Way Home comes with the incorporation of established characters from different cinematic universes. That includes Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning as his Spider-Men, and before the release of the second trailer, Garfield took another moment to deny that he was involved in the movie. It was the last of several denials that he would be in the movie, even if no one believed him.

“Listen, I’m not in the movie,” Garfield said bluntly in Today. “I love Spider-Man, I always have. I was so happy I played the part, and I’m so excited to see what they do with the third party, like you guys, to be honest. No, that’s not a diplomatic response. . I mean it. I love Tom Holland. I love Jon Watts. I love Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige and what they’ve done with those movies and that character. He’s an important character to me. I’m so excited to see what happens. in the third, like you “.

Who will we see and who will we not see in the movie when it finally comes out? We can be sure that his box office performance will be tremendous and fans will flock to find out. Spider-Man: No Way Home It will be released in theaters on December 17, 2021.
