Make no mistake, it is becoming difficult to keep up with Star Wars even for fans. Even without taking into account apocryphal projects belonging to the formerly called Expanded Universe, the expansion of the galaxy can make you doubt your ability to travel between productions.

With the last of the three trilogies in the saga concluded, and with the Disney + platform already consolidated, the mouse company is planning an ambitious schedule of the next Star Wars releases for the big and small screen. From the periods between trilogy and trilogy they have created several time arcs in which they can insert new stories, such as that of ‘The Mandalorian’, in which arc many of the next projects are inserted, or the period of the Clone Wars, in which we will return to see iconic actors from the films such as Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen.

After the epilogue of the second season of the Mandalorian series, comes the long-awaited spin-off centered on the characters of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. The same creators of ‘The Mandalorian’, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, appear as those most responsible for this new foray into the world of bounty hunters. The story will accompany Boba Fett and the mercenary Fennec Shand through the underworld of the galaxy and the sands of Tatooine, where they will claim the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Whether you are a ‘Star Wars’ fan or not, we are going to refresh the chronological order by watching the movie saga (‘Star Wars: the rise of Skywalker’ included) as its story unfolds. Although we point out that it is always more accurate for the premiere dates to be those that mark a viewing as the maker directs, we have developed a galactic swallowing order to preserve the different secrets and script twists of the saga (although we do not include series, except one ). Ready to pretend we don’t know anything about this story? In a galaxy far, far away …

1

HAN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY

Thanks to this movie, we get to know Han Solo, where he comes from, how he meets Chewbacca, Lando and how the Millennium Falcon wins. It has nothing to do with the Skywalker saga, so it’s a good place to start.

2

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY

Thanks to ‘Rogue One’, we start to see the Empire, Darth Vader, we know the Resistance and something about the Force, but not too much. Above it links directly to ‘A new hope’.

3

EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE

First film to be released, but we propose it as the third in the order of the saga. We meet Luke, we meet up with Leia and Han, and we know who those rebels are who gave their lives for the plans of the Death Star.

4

EPISODE V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

Follow the story of Luke and his training. First time we see Yoda, and Boba Fett. We meet Lando again and … tach, tach, we know the true identity of Darth Vader.

5

EPISODE I: THE GHOST THREAT

Flashback to know the origin of everything. Now that we know who Darth Vader is, we have to discover how he became Darth Vader. Besides knowing something more about Yoda …

6

EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES

We meet again with Boba Fett and we are understanding the operation of the Republic. We also attend the goings-on of the Federation and the separatists.

7

CLONE WARS (MOVIE)

Thanks to the ‘The Clone Wars’ movie, we know what Anakin and Obi-Wan were up to during the Clone Wars.

8

EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH

Another of the secrets of the saga, revealed. Who is actually the Emperor? Also, we see the birth of the Skywalker twins, and the birth of Darth Vader.

9

EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI

End of flashback. We already have all the data to reach the apotheosis end of ‘Return of the Jedi’. We already know who the Emperor really is, we know Boba Fett, and that Leia and Luke are brothers. Yes, that surprise spoils us with ‘Revenge of the Sith’, but there is no way to avoid it …

10

THE ADVENTURE OF THE EWOKS

Spin-off of the saga that, although chronologically it happens before ‘The Return of the Jedi’, it does not matter to see it afterwards since it is a totally parallel story.

eleven

THE BATTLE OF THE EWOKS PLANET

Sequel to ‘The Adventure of the Ewoks’. Like the previous one, it takes place before ‘Return of the Jedi’ but nothing happens to see it afterwards. So we also fell a little more in love with the Ewoks.

12

THE MANDALORIAN

Yes, it is a series, but important enough (and current) to warrant a viewing. Set about 5 years after ‘Return of the Jedi’, it explains details that we will see in the new trilogy.

13

EPISODE VII: THE AWAKENING OF THE FORCE

Years after the events of ‘Return of the Jedi’, we meet a new chosen one, Rey, and we reunite with Han Solo and Leia. Wonderful.

14

EPISODE VIII: THE LAST JEDI

Luke enters the scene and tells us what happened so that he retired to the island of Ahch-To.

fifteen

EPISODE IX: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER
