‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ will be very different, according to its director, James Gunn

Director james gunn has provided fans with an update on ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,’ teasing an unexpected direction for Marvel’s sequel.

The director has been hard at work on the film, revealing in a new interview that it’s “going really well”, while also commenting on the role of the star coming out of ‘Peacemaker’, Chukwudi Iwuji, in the film.

“Chukwudi, who plays Murn in ‘Peacemaker,’ is one of the main characters in the movie and people are going crazy over how good this guy is. literally freaking out“, the filmmaker told Collider.

“I think I am very happy. I gave a bunch of scenes to Marvel right before the Christmas break. (Head of Marvel Studios) Kevin (Feige) was… Everybody was very, very, very excited. But also, it’s not going to be the people in the movie… It’s different from what people expect.Gunn continued. “It’s a tough road, but I’m pretty happy with it so far.”

It comes after Gunn recently gave everyone an update on the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which is due out later this year and will be an integral part of the third movie.

Gunn also confirmed that filming has not started as it should at the moment, given the development of the pandemic. This is how he told Collider: “It is still to come in the shoot. We were supposed to shoot one day in Los Angeles, and there’s too much Omicron around, so we couldn’t do it. We are seeing how we fit it. I have not started yet. I’m excited to do this. It’s funcontinued the director.The Christmas special is… I’m almost jealous of it, even though I wrote it because people freaked out so much about how much they love the Christmas special script that I’m almost like, ‘Well, let’s see. I have this movie here that I’ve been working on for two years. You love the holiday special that I literally wrote in no time. But, it’s really fun and really good“.
