* If you haven’t seen Chapter 8 of the second season of ‘Euphoria’‘All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned for a Thing I Cannot Name’, read no further!

On February 28, the eighth chapter of the second season of ‘Euphoria’ arrived at HBO Max, with which the story is closed until the premiere of season 3. In the previous episode we saw how everyone attended the school play , which reflected their lives and which has reopened several wounds. However, there is a great absence, that of Fezco (Angus Cloud), who does not arrive in time to see the creation of Lexi (Maude Apatow) and we do not know why.

In the new episode, we find out what’s going on at Rue’s (Zendaya) friend’s house as the youngest Howard continues her play looking at her empty chair. Custer (Tyler Chase) is sitting on the couch waiting for Fez or Ashtray (Javon Walton) to confess to killing Mouse, since he has cut a deal with the police by collaborating with her. When Ash realizes that he has a micro, he kills him by sticking a knife in his jugular. At that moment, his adoptive brother decides to turn herself in to the police in his place, but he does not allow it and locks himself in the bathroom, triggering a shootout with the patrol that enters the house. It all ends with Fez wounded (and arrested), and Ash being shot after killing one of the agents.

However, the ending that was originally written was very different. According to what Javon Walton himself has told Varietythe plot had quite relevant last minute changes: “It was not written that Ashtray was shot. Something else was happening. He wasn’t supposed to get shot! It was Fez he was shooting [la policĂa] At first, something very crazy. And then the day before, they change the plot and shoot me.”. In addition, he also explains that that same day was when they decided to have Ash inadvertently hurt Fez.

And yes…?

Although the public generally thinks that he is dead, it has not been explicitly seen on screen, so it may not be so. As for this, Walton does not close the door to see him again in the third season: There is still hope that he is still alive. Because if there’s anyone on the show who could take a bullet, it’s Ashtray. Ashtray is a rebel. He’s not playing. I think he has a chance to be present in season 3.”.

The following season faces many unanswered questions. We still don’t know Ash’s family, or how Lexi will find out what happened at Fez’s house, if Rue will have problems because of the money she owes to the drug trafficker or how the conflict between Maddie (Alexa Demie) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) will evolve after they fight in front of the entire school.
