‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is going strong and the numbers that its first trailer has made corroborate it. After 24 hours of its publication on networks, the teaser reached a total of 209 million viewsthus becoming the fourth trailer for a Marvel Studios movie most viewed in that period of time.
The current record is held by ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which amassed 355.5 million views during its first 24 hours after being launched in August of last year. The first place is very far from the second, which is held by ‘Avengers: Endgame’ with 289 million on its first day, while the third place would remain with ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ with 230.
With that fourth place, the new installment of Thor (the first superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have a fourth installment) is consolidated as a long-awaited film by fans after a long time waiting for a preview.
An expected turn
The ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ teaser hides many winks and easter eggs for the most attentive fans, but above all emphasizes the transcendental journey that Thor will undergo after the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’. With him, we will see characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Valkyrie or Korg. However, the most anticipated and commented part is, without a doubt, the return of Natalie Portman, this time as Mighty Thor.
With a multitude of theories in mind, fans will have to wait a little longer, since its premiere is dated for next july 8. For now, May 6 we will be able to check if ‘Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness’ hides some kind of new advance in its post-credits scene.
