The head of the DIF is assassinated in Acayucan, Veracruz, during a public event


The President of the DIF of Acayucán, Veracruz, Clemente Nagasaki Countywas murdered this Thursday morning at an event he was attending in that community in the state of Veracruz.

The State Prosecutor’s Office reported through its Twitter account that it has launched an investigation into the murder of the official, who was executed in the “Los Manguitos” room where a public event was taking place.

“The State Attorney General’s Office reports that an investigation folder was started for the events in which the President of the municipal DIF of Acayucan, Clemente Nagasaki Condado, lost his life, raised this morning in the ‘Los Manguitos’ room, of that municipality”.

“Prosecutors, experts and ministerial police, carry out the procedures that allow establishing the causes and finding the person or persons responsible for it”, detailed the Prosecutor’s Office.

Meanwhile, the State Police implemented a search operation for the probable perpetrator, without any arrests so far.

According to the Police, through the 911 line they received a report of the aggression that occurred in the Barrio Tamarindo neighborhood.

Clemente Nagasaki was the brother of the former mayor of Acayucan, Cuitláhuac County Escamilla, and husband of the current mayor, Rosalba Rodríguez Rodríguez.
