The successful Netflix series “The Squid Game” will explore other forms of entertainment by announcing the development of a reality show in which 456 players will participate.

This Tuesday the Netflix account on Facebook shared a video announcing the creation of the reality show, in which the winner of the same will become a creditor of 4.56 million dollars.

The new project of the most successful Netflix series is called “The Squid Game: The Challenge”, where the contestants will participate in challenges and games inspired by the South Korean plot.

Just two days ago Netflix announced that the series “The Squid Game” will return for a second season.

“Squid Game captivated the world with director Hwang’s iconic story and visuals. We are grateful for your support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment”, said Brandon Riegg, vice president of documentary series at Netflix.

“Fans of the drama series are in for a fascinating and unpredictable journey as our 456 real-world contestants navigate the biggest competition series in history, full of tension and unexpected twistswith the biggest cash prize at the end,” he added, according to Variety.
