If you have plans to travel to Panama, as of September 26 of this year, you will be able to do so from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) with Airline Cup.
The Panamanian airline made the announcement this Friday. “More options for your trip to Mexico City!”he wrote on Twitter.
Copa Airlines explained that the flight plan is to and from the AIFA with three weekly frequencies (Monday, Thursday and Saturday).

As of September 26, you will be able to travel to and from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU) in Santa Lucía, with 3 weekly frequencies, just 43 km from Mexico City.

This will be the third international route that the Felipe Ángeles Airport will have, which has a flight to Caracasoperated by Conviasa already Cuba with VivaAerobus; however, this last route has not started operations yet.
It was on March 21 when the new terminal located in Santa Lucía, in the Mexican municipality of Zumpango, was inaugurated.
