"I didn't like how my departure from Barcelona was handled": Dani Alves | Video

Daniel Alves, former player of FC Barcelona, assured that he left the Catalan club hurt by his departurewithout a farewell to the fans and without being able to continue being a player, at least, until the winter market and thus be able to reach the World Cup Qatar 2022 in shape and as culé.

In an interview for the British newspaper Guardian, picked up by Europe Pressthe Brazilian declared:

I did not leave sad. I left happy to have returned to Barcelona. I dreamed for five years wanting to live this second moment. The only thing I didn’t like was how my departure was handled.

Alves explained that since his return to Camp Nou made it “very clear” that he was no longer a 20-year-old guy and that I wanted things to be done head-on.

I didn’t want things to be hidden. But this club is sinning in recent years. FC Barcelona does not care about the people who made history for the club

In this sense, he assured that as culé he would like the club to do things “in another way”. “I am not talking about myself because my situation was another scenario. I am eternally grateful to Xavi (Hernández) and the president (Joan Laporta) for bringing me back.”he clarified, however, after playing the final stretch of the season at Barsa.

I found a club full of young people with amazing ideas in the field”, assured the Brazilian, who he played 17 games this last campaign and 247 in his first stage in the Blaugrana team.

But he needs to improve the work outside the field. The mentality is totally opposite to what we built a few years ago. Everything that happens on the field is a reflection of what happens outside.

And added the jplayer with the most titles in history (42), including the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo 2020 with the Brazil Under 23 team.

I’m looking forward to Barcelona getting back to the top, but it’s super complicated. Soccer is more balanced, it is a collective game. And that has been left out in the club.

Looking ahead to your future, looking for an exciting challenge and a place where he can fight to be called up to the national team that will play the World Cup Qatar 2022.

This is soccer. You have to get together with people who want the same goal, who want to compete, win. I like to win and I want to go somewhere where I can win.
