Covid vaccine: second doses announced for young people from 12 to 14 years old in CDMX

The Ministry of Health of Mexico City reported that this week the second dose will be applied for young people from 12 to 14 years old against Covid-19 with the Pfizer pediatric biological, as well as reinforcements for adults with the CanSino vaccine and first doses for adults with the CanSino vaccine.

The week of Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, the second dose immunization will be applied to young people aged 12 to 14 years old according to the initial letter of their first surname and under the following schedule:

A,B,C Monday July 18;

D,E,F,G, Tuesday July 19;

H,I,J,K,L,M Wednesday July 20;

N,Ñ,O,P,Q,R Thursday, July 21;

S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z on Friday July 22nd.

The requirements to be vaccinated are as follows:

1) Be 12, 13 or 14 years old.

2) Have received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least 21 days ago.

3) Bring Birth Certificate or CURP.

4) Be accompanied by an adult.

The capital agency reported that in the coming weeks the first doses for children between 5 and 11 years of age will be reported, as additional pediatric vaccines are assigned to Mexico City.

The application of the biological will be carried out in 55 vaccination points that will open from 08:30 to 15:00.
