The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reported the securing of weapons and war objects in the municipality of Huimanguillo, Tabasco.
The Tabasco delegation of the FGR integrated an investigation folder for the crime of violation of the Federal Law on Firearms and Explosivesaccording to a statement from the autonomous body.
The FGR indicated that, after receiving an anonymous complaint, elements of the Federal Ministerial Police carried out investigative acts at kilometer 113 of the Las Choapas-Raudales-Ocozocoautla section, Ejido Malpaso, belonging to the municipality of Huimanguillo.
In the place they arrested a person, David “N”, who was on board a tractor coupled to a flatbed semitrailer of the Federal Public Service.
Asecured 17 long weapons1,821 cartridges of various calibers, 49 vests, 29 magazine holder trimmings, 40 black helmets, 40 velcro accessories for helmets, nine plastic holsters for handguns, five packages with a total of 80 plastic magazines, as well as three vehicles with license plates of the state of Chiapas.
Due to the foregoing, David “S” -the detainee- and the insured remained at the disposal of the Public Ministry of the Federation (MPF), of the FGR, who continues with the integration of the investigation folder, for the crime of violation of the Federal Law of Firearms and Explosives, until resolved according to the corresponding law.
