The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) obtained the second favorable sentence in which the domain forfeiture action was declared in favor of the federal government regarding money seized in the operation to capture Pedro Ramírez Pérez, known as “El Jamón”.
The alleged criminal is accused of taking the leadership of La Unión Tepito since 2018 and is related to crimes such as homicide, kidnapping and drug distribution.
He was arrested in May 2019 (just as his main counterpart, Jorge Flores, alleged leader of the Anti-Union, was being arrested) in Atizapán de Zaragoza.
In the search operation, the federal elements found methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana, as well as firearms and 400 thousand pesos in cash.
According to the investigation folder, it was noted that the money was seized in the search proceeding carried out in a building located in Sayavedra County, municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico.
The money was subjected to a process, in which its legal origin was not demonstrated, so it passed into the hands of the government.
