9:00 pm – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In the 11th episode, the powerful Leftovers alliance comprised of Monte, Kyle, Brittany, Michael, Turner, Taylor and Joseph couldn’t decide whether to keep the noms the same (Alyssa and Indy) or use the Veto to backdoor another pair (Nicole and Taylor). Ultimately, a discussion between Monte, Daniel and Nicole convinced Daniel to use the Veto because he thought Monte was lying about not having enough votes to keep Nicole safe. In reality, Monte was telling them the truth, and now it’s possible that Nicole will be blindsided by the end of the hour because her best friend Daniel essentially put her on the block. Let’s go!
9:04 p.m. – After the Veto meeting, Daniel remained convinced that there was a large alliance forming with three pairs: Taylor and Turner, Brittany and Michael, and Monte and Joseph. That led him to believe that his vote for him plus Alyssa, Jasmine, Indy, Terrance and Kyle’s would be a majority tally to successfully take Taylor out and keep Nicole safe.
9:07 p.m. – Daniel informed Kyle of his decision to use the Veto last minute, which meant that some members of Kyle’s alliance were left blindsided. One of those people was Taylor, now on the block again despite being told that she wasn’t going to be. Alyssa, taken off the block, believed that it was Kyle who decided to use the Veto which rebuilt the trust she thought she lost in him the previous week.
9:10 p.m. – Nicole decided to tell Indy, Jasmine and Alyssa her “secret” that she was a police officer, thinking that their loyalty last week for Ameerah was worth solidifying this week to save her. All three of the women received the “secret” well and considered it an asset to have a detective on their side in the game.
9:16 p.m. – With Alyssa’s trust in Kyle renewed, the door was open for more flirting to occur between them. But knowing that his time with her in the house could be cut short because of his alliance with her (it almost was with her), he decided that he should have as much fun with her as he can while he can. They began spending time with each other during showers, holding hands privately, and even discussed when the best time would be to kiss for the first time. Finally, Kyle found the courage to “go for it” and kissed Alyssa for the first time while Daniel was napping next to them. The kiss made Alyssa “giddy” and so it seemed like against their best laid plans, both Kyle and Alyssa had found themselves embroiled in a showmance.
9:24 p.m. – Thinking about the impact that another blindside might have in future weeks, Joseph devised a plan with Monte, Turner and Taylor to get some non-Leftovers players on board with voting Nicole out. Before that could happen, Nicole had a meeting with Monte and told him that if she wins HOH she’d put Indy, Jasmine or Alyssa on the block next week. Monte didn’t trust what she was saying, but she did say it and that made it something he could go to the women with as ammunition to get them on board with sending Nicole home. Monte hit up Jasmine first, hoping that she’d take the information to Indy and Alyssa. Because Monte said that Nicole might be the better option, Jasmine went to Alyssa and Indy to tell them that it looks like the house is flipping and they might need to protect themselves from being “on the other side of the house again.” Indy wasn’t buying it and was adamant that Taylor is the one that needs to go or she’s going to win the game.
9:33 p.m. – In their statements to the voters, Nicole tells them she’s been humbled this week, but remains committed to playing with “humility and grace” and that she’ll fight for her allies. Taylor countered told Nicole she “looks so dumb right now” by allowing her her closest ally to put her on the block and for choosing her her biggest target as her Festie Bestie. Taylor told the other houseguests that she’s always been clear about where she stands, but Nicole chooses to play a game of manipulation.
9:36 p.m. – Julie called the houseguests in to begin the vote: Joseph for Nicole, Terrance for Nicole, Michael for Nicole, and Indy for Nicole.
9:42 p.m. – The votes to evict continued: Jasmine for Nicole, Daniel for Taylor, Turner for Nicole, Kyle for Nicole, Alyssa for Nicole, and Brittany for Nicole.
9:45 p.m. – Julie revealed to the nominees that the vote fell down as 9-1 to evict Nicole. Not so much the blindside we were expecting this week as it seems both Daniel and Nicole were expecting the result, and the votes Nicole thought she had ended up voting her out of her. After Nicole left, Daniel declared to the house “Y’all can split the check. Play for your selves.”
9:51 p.m. – Nicole told Julie that she thought Taylor’s speech was “amazing and comical” and also accurate. Nicole admitted that she played her alliance’s game instead of her own de ella, but Julie wanted to know what gave Nicole the confidence to think she was safe after two blindsides in the previous two weeks. Nicole thought she had the numbers, but eventually she learned there was a larger alliance forming and so she ultimately wasn’t surprised that the vote was a landslide against her. Nicole also said that Monte was clear with her about why he no longer trusted her and had her as the target of her. At that point Julie informed Nicole of The Leftovers, adding that it formed the night Nicole and Daniel confronted Taylor and was founded on the concept of protecting Taylor and feeling like they had been left out of the all female alliance.
9:56 p.m. – In the closing minutes, Julie gave the floor to Taylor to declare which Festie Bestie set she’d like to join going forward, including the set of three of Monte, Joseph and Terrance. Taylor made the decision to “go with the girls” and joined up with Indy and Alyssa.
