This is not TicketMaster’s first foray into the social media industry. In February of this year, the company allied with snapchat to launch Ticketmatcher.
This functionality offers the users of the application a series of personalized events, based on their preferences and, later, redirects them to the platform’s website to buy their tickets.
In June, TicketMaster also became part of the initiative Spotify Live Events. This ‘feed’ locates live events based on the user’s viewing habits and location, to offer tickets to certain concerts and live shows.
