Tropical depression "Nueve-E" forms off the coast of Colima and Jalisco

The National Water Commission (Conagua) reported that this Saturday the tropical depression “Nine-E” south of the coasts of Colima and Jalisco.

“It will reinforce the conditions of punctual and strong rains in the west and south of Mexico, as well as promote strong winds and waves on the coasts of these regions,” Conagua explained.

According to this Saturday’s report, “Nueve-E” moves along the Mexican Pacific coast with gusts of 75 km/hr, with sustained winds of up to 55 km/hr.

Its wide circulation will reinforce the conditions of very heavy punctual rains in the west and south of the Mexican Republic, in addition to causing gusts of wind of 50 to 60 km/h and waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters in height on the coasts of Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco and Michoacan.

The National Metereological Service He called on maritime navigation in the vicinity to take extreme precautions due to the conditions of strong winds and waves.
