Liga MX reported this Friday that the match that would be played between “Los Bravos” de Juárez and Club Pachuca will be rescheduleddue to the violent day that took place in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, this past Thursday.
The meeting between ‘Los Bravos’ and ‘Los Tuzos’ originally it would take place this Saturday, August 13 at the Benito Juárez Olympic Stadium, in Chihuahua.
In a statement, Liga MX mentions that due to the “circumstances” that Ciudad Juárez is going through, the match corresponding to matchday 8 will be rescheduled; nevertheless, did not specify on what date it would take place.
For its part, FC Juárez shared a message of encouragement on its social networks in the face of the acts that occurred in Ciudad Juárez.

The violent day in Ciudad Juárez claimed the lives of 11 people. The events began around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday with a fight between the groups called “Los Chapos” and “Los Mexicles”, inside the Social Reintegration Center number 3, located in Juárez, where 20 people were injured. , four of them by firearm and two died.
However, they were members of “Los Mexicles” who began the attacks outside the prison against the civilian population. At least 11 people died during these events, including a minor and four members of a local radio station led by announcer Alan González.
