Parents of victims of the ABC Nursery install anti-monument in front of the SCJN to demand justice


The parents of the fatal victims of the fire of the ABC Nursery they installed a anti-monument before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) to demand Justice for the deaths of their children.

During the early hours of this Wednesday, relatives placed 49 white crosses with the names of the infant victims of the fire in front of the main door of the highest court building.

Before the installation, Dalilah, mother of Iann Gonzalo Valdez Meneses, who was injured in the incident, denounced through social networks that the SCJN hase work “pending for the violations human rights violations” against their children and demanded justice.

For her part, Marisol Montaño, mother of Danna Paola, one of the victims injured in the nursery, pointed out that they installed the anti-monument to “remind the SCJN” that “it owes justice” to its children.

Through social networks, he maintained that in the case there is illegality, insensitivity and partialityin favor of the Executive Commission for Attention to Victims (CEAV), the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB) and the Government of Mexico.

“You are responsible for the lack of JUSTICE in the case of the ABC Nursery fire,” he wrote.

On June 5, 2009, 49 children died and more than 80 were injured and with consequences due to the fire at the ABC nursery in Hermosillo that spread from an adjoining warehouse.

The children’s stay was private, but it worked with the model of subrogation of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).

It was in charge of a company constituted by Marcia Matilde Altagracia Gómez del Campo Tonella, a relative of Margarita Zavala Gómez del Campo, wife of then President Calderón, as well as Gildardo Francisco Urquides and Sandra Luca Téllez Nieves.
