IPN students block Periferico Sur;  denounce lack of teachers, materials, and mismanagement


This Tuesday, September 6, around 12 in the afternoon, the students of the Higher School of Commerce and Administration (ESCA) Tepepan Unit of the National Polytechnic Institute they blocked the circulation of Periférico Sur, demanding better management on campus.

According to the reports, the students they blocked the side avenue of Periférico Sur denouncing the lack of teachers, materials and even cases of harassment of teaching staff.

Images and videos circulate on social networks where you can see the collapsed circulation of the avenue because the students left only one lane for cars.

So far, reported about 100 students that keep the highway in Xochimilco blocked.

The Road Orientation Center of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City recommended taking alternative routes as Arenal Avenue and Calzada Mexico Xochimilco.

It should be remembered that since last August 22schools that make up the IPN began a stoppage of activities among which are: UPIIG, UPIICSA, UPIBI Y ENCB

The disagreements began in the ENCB where students accused alleged acts of corruption and abuse of functions of its then director Yadira Rivera Espinoza, who resigned from the position on August 29.
