René Bejarano could be a congressman from Morena, after the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation revoked the resolution of the party’s National Commission of Honesty and Justice (CNHJ) against him.
The CNHJ had rejected Bejarano’s profile as a candidate for national congressman in federal electoral district 15, headquartered in the Benito Juárez mayor’s office, considering that he had not demonstrated work in favor of the political party in the electoral district in which he intended to run. , nor a prominent political-social link in it.
For this reason, he filed a citizen lawsuit, reported the TEPJF through a statement published this Wednesday.
“In this regard, the Superior Chamber, in a public session by videoconference, at the proposal of Judge Felipe Alfredo Fuentes Barrera, revoked the partisan decision, considering that there is no normative provision in which the required requirement is established,” the statement states.
In this way, the Superior Chamber determined that the registry of Rene Bejaranoas a candidate in federal electoral district 15, in Benito Juárez, Mexico City, must be considered valid.
Now, Brunette must analyze if the citizen is among the first five places on the list of voting results in the demarcation, to determine if a place corresponds to him among the national congressmen representing the aforementioned electoral district.
