The Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office reported the capture of Ricardo “N”, alias “El Coco” or “El Tito”, identified as a generator of violence in the entity.
According to investigations, he is linked to several massacres that took place in the cities of Irapuato, Silao and Romita.
During the capture operation, he fired at the elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency, but was finally subdued, according to a statement from the Prosecutor’s Office.
He bequeathed a 9-millimeter caliber firearm, for the exclusive use of the Army.
The Prosecutor’s Office is already working on several folders that involve him and in the following hours he will be presented before a control judge to evaluate the legality of the arrest and for charges to be filed.
