Venezuela shoots down a plane from Mexico;  violated their airspace


The Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) shot down a plane from Mexico bound for Aruba, when he changed course and illegally entered Venezuelan airspace.

The head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command, Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that the operation was carried out by members of the comprehensive aerospace defensive system, in a clandestine track located in Zulia state.

Sabreliner aircraft registration XB-RXG from Mexico bound for the Reina Beatrix airport, Aruba, changed course and illegally entered Venezuelan airspace, being disabled by the comprehensive aerospace defensive system on a clandestine runway in Zulia state,” he wrote on Twitter.

In various images published on said social network, the destroyed plane can be seen.

It is unknown if there are victims for this fact.
