Producer Vince Gilligan, creator of ‘Breaking Bad’, is fine-tuning details for a new series that will premiere on Apple TV and in which the actress will star Rhea Seehorn.
The also writer and director Vince Gilligan got recognition for ‘Breaking Bad’ and increased it with ‘Better Call Saul’, his latest installment where Rhea Seehorn played Kim Wexler.
Although details of the plot in which this new series will take place have not yet been given, Variety He reported that will consist of two seasons. Since before the end of the ‘Better Call Saul’ series, it was speculated that Gilligan would be working on something new with Rhea Seehorn.
“After fifteen years, i thought it was time to take a break from writing antiheroes…and who is more heroic than the brilliant Rhea Seehorn?” Gilligan said in a statement.
“It’s about time she had her own show, and I feel lucky to be able to work with her.”
For her part, Rhea Seehorn confirmed her participation in the new series on her Instagram account.
“I’m on ‘the Moon’ excited.”
Gilligan will serve as executive producer of the new series. While Jeff Frost and Diane Mercer will be executive producers. Jenn Carroll of Gilligan’s High Bridge Productions will produce. Sony Pictures Television, which also produced “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul,” will be the studio behind the series.
