UNAM Faculty of Political Sciences evicted due to bomb threat

The classes in Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico were suspended this Friday for a bomb threatreported university authorities.

In a statement, UNAM explained that a call to C5 in Mexico City alerted about an explosive device at the school located in Ciudad Universitaria, so facilities were vacated.

Staff arrived at the scene Civil protection, of the University Safeguard and the body of Firemen and after reviewing the facilities they found nothing.

The UNAM reported that classes at the Faculty will resume tomorrow for the students and teaching staff of the Open University system and on Monday, September 26 for the school system.

Last Wednesday was recorded another bomb threat in a campus of the University of Morelos.

State Civil Protection confirmed that two homemade explosive devices exploded inside the bathrooms of the Chamilpa campusfrom where they previously evicted almost 4 thousand people.
