Vaccination against Covid-19 begins in 5-year-old children in CDMX;  these are the dates and venues

Next week starts at Mexico City vaccination against Covid-19 for 5-year-oldsreported the Ministry of Health of the capital.

According to the vaccination schedule, those infants whose surname begins with the letters A, B or C, they will be inoculated on Monday, September 26.

for the initials D, E, F and G’swill be on Tuesday, September 27, while for H, I, J, K, L and M It will be Wednesday, September 28. Lastly, on Thursday surnames beginning with N, Ñ, O, P, Q and Rand on Friday at S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.

To receive the dose, children must already be 5 years old. They also need to be accompanied by an adult.

CDMX will have 55 vaccination points open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To consult the locations of each one, it is possible to access the interactive map of the Government of Mexico City, through this link:

Also, there will be an second dose for infants 8 years of age and will follow the same vaccination dates, determined by the initial of the last name.

To receive the dose, children must already be 8 years old or have a age of 11, 10 or 9. They also need to be accompanied by an adult.

This Friday also arrived in Mexico the seventh Covax shipment, with 878 thousand 400 vaccines Pediatric Pfizer-BioNTech, to be supplied to girls and boys ages five to 11.

This is part of the purchase contract made by the Mexican government to the United Nations mechanism for 10 million 3 thousand 200 biologicals.

With these new arrivals add five million 692 thousand 800 doses received by Mexico from Covax.
